TPU Car Clothing Film Casting Production Line
The installation of the new equipment is completed and enters the debugging phase.
The environmental performance of PVC is not as high as that of TPU, and it has a strong odor when burned. Even if buried underground for 20 years, it cannot automatically decompose. TPU is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. It can reach food grade without adding any impurities. TPU can decompose automatically over time and can replace PVC. TPU can also be printed, hot pressed, and infrared bonded
TPU for shoe materials:
Shoe material TPU is a TPU raw material used to make shoe materials. The hardness of TPU raw materials required for different parts of shoe materials is often different due to their different hardness. Generally speaking, several commonly used TPU raw materials are used for the air cushion, outsole, and upper of shoe materials. As for the type of TPU material used, it depends on the specific requirements of the shoe material manufacturer.
In terms of shoe materials, the current models of TPU are:
High hardness: S364D (polyester, hardness: 65D, high transparency, UV stability, FDA S375D TT1072D HS85D)
General hardness: S392 (polyester, 93A, high transparency, UV stability, FDA approved)
Specially soft: 5714 (polyether, 80A, G0020 (polyester, 78A, white, opaque) X1007 (74A, semi transparent, polyether), etc.
Non toxic, TPU material can be reused, and it can decompose on its own over a certain period of time without causing environmental pollution. It is called an environmentally friendly material.
The name TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) is thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber. It is mainly divided into polyester and polyether types. It has a wide range of hardness (60HA-85HD), is wear-resistant, oil resistant, transparent, and has good elasticity. It is widely used in daily necessities, sports goods, toys, decorative materials, and other fields. Halogen-free flame retardant TPU can also replace soft PVC to meet the environmental requirements of more and more fields.
The so-called elastomer refers to polymer materials with a glass transition temperature lower than room temperature, a fracture elongation greater than 50%, and good recovery after external force removal. Polyurethane elastomers are a special category of elastomers, with a wide range of hardness and performance. Therefore, polyurethane elastomers are a type of polymer material that falls between rubber and plastic.
It can be heated and plasticized, with little or no cross-linking in its chemical structure. Its molecules are basically linear, but there is a certain degree of physical cross-linking. This type of polyurethane is called TPU.
characteristic
The main characteristics of TPU are:
Wide range of hardness: By changing the ratio of TPU reaction components, products with different hardness can be obtained, and as the hardness increases, the products still maintain good elasticity and wear resistance.
High mechanical strength: TPU products have outstanding load-bearing capacity, impact resistance, and shock absorption performance.
Outstanding cold resistance: TPU has a relatively low glass transition temperature and maintains good elasticity, flexibility, and other physical properties even at minus 35 degrees Celsius.
Good processing performance: TPU can be processed using common thermoplastic material processing methods, such as injection molding, extrusion, rolling, etc. Meanwhile, TPU can be processed together with certain polymer materials to obtain polymer alloys with complementary properties.
Oil resistant, water resistant, and mold resistant. Good recyclability.
TPU, as an elastomer, is a material that lies between rubber and plastic. This is evident from its rigidity, which can be measured by its elastic modulus. The elastic modulus of rubber is usually between 1-10Mpa, TPU is between 10-1000Mpa, and plastics (nylon, ABS, PC, POM) are between 1000-10000Mpa. The hardness range of TPU is quite wide, ranging from Shore A 60 to Shore D 80, and it has high elasticity throughout the entire hardness range; TPU has flexibility over a wide temperature range of -40~120 ℃, without the need for plasticizers; TPU has good resistance to oils (mineral oils, animal and vegetable fats, and lubricants) and many solvents; TPU also has good weather resistance and excellent resistance to high-energy radiation. The well-known wear resistance, tear resistance, and flexural strength are all excellent; High tensile strength, high elongation, and low long-term compression permanent deformation rate are significant advantages of TPU.
